John Denver, a singer-songwriter from Colorado who focused on folk music has brought joy to millions. Henry John Deutschendorf Jr. who was born Henry J. Deutschendorf from Roswell located in the state of New Mexico,, was in love with Colorado. He settled in Aspen. A few made their way through Colorado due to Denver's famous anthems to his adopted state. G. Brown the curator of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame stated in his report that John Denver was the best singer to have captured Colorado. In the year 2011, Denver was selected as the Hall of Fame's very first inductee. Denver is viewed as the embodiment of Colorado by people all over the world. Through my travels I've had the pleasure of meeting people who are from New Zealand or the other side. When you tell them that you're from Colorado the first words they'll say is"Oh John Denver. Brown stated. Take Me Home Country Roads was one of Denver's biggest solo success after performing with a small group of folk musicians. The song was written and recorded by Bill Danoff. Danoff created the song using Johnny Cash in mind but when Denver heard an early version he knew right away the song could be an instant hit. After performing the song in Washington D.C. to a huge crowd, the singer released the song a couple of days later.
