Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder is the professionally-known name of Winona Laura Hoowitz. She was who was born in Winona Minnesota. She was named by her parents after the town in which she grew up. His father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder's mother and father are both Jewish. Ryder believes herself to being Jewish. She has a younger brother Uria and half-siblings Jubal and Sunyata. When Ryder was seven, her family relocated to Mendocino County California. There they didn't have electricity. Ryder read a lot due to the lack of television. Ryder, then 12, was enrolled in the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in the year 1983. Lucas was let go in 1986 and Ryder, then barely 15 years old, landed the role of a leading actor. Ryder faced bullying during her high school years. Ryder was hopeful that her work as an actress could bring about change. Unfortunately, that did not take place. However, she was determined to pursue the dreams she had. Beetlejuice the 1988 Tim Burton film, was her first big break. Ryder continued to be successful in her characters in numerous films. She received nominations for two Academy Awards one for her performance in The Age of Innocence (1993).
