Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is an Canadian actor best well-known for her roles as a character in the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters, and Venevision telenovelas Cosita linda, and Voltea pa' que you are awestruck. As a dancer and model, Toubia has also achieved success in both fields. A Montreal born native, she grew up in Texas and has been interested in dance and performing. From the time she was a young child, she had been trained in various dance forms. As she reached the age of 15 old, she began participating in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia achieved fame after she won a spot on Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. In 2010 she played the receptionist of Telemundo telenovela Aurora. Toubia was a part of Tattooed Love (2015), an action-oriented film.
